End of the Quarter
This Friday is the end of the first quarter. Please be sure to complete and turn in all missing work. If you have questions, ask. I am available before school, during lunch and most days after school. Law students must pass the vocabulary test with a score of 70% or higher. If you need help studying, you can log on to Quia using the password you were given in class. English students will be starting the Kansas writing strategies this week. Biology students will be tested on their knowledge and ability to use the microscopes on Friday. We will then continue the study of cell parts and processes. Earth Science will be studying oil spills and their affects on the environment.

Happy Fall
Sunrise Lake Day was a great success, and now we are going to apply that confidence to our academics. In Law we just finished the Chapter 1 test, and are studying about how laws are written. In English, we are finishing up our short stories unit and will start focusing on our writing skills next week. Biology will complete the graphing quiz on Thursday, then we will start our unit on cells. Earth Science students are starting their powerpoints today about alternative energy resources. Keep working on using PPC throughout the day!!
